Nik Dfine 2.0

Nik Dfine 2.0Taking great photographs in low light has always been a challenge for photographers of all levels. You use a wide aperture and a slow shutter speed, to prevent blurring, but you'll have to use a tripod and remote shutter release...which is not always practical. Another way to reduce blurring under low-light conditions is to use a high ISO, often in the 800 and up range.

The problem with both of these techniques is that your digital images will usually end up with a lot of "noise" (graininess, or lots of tiny "spots" in the image). But Nik Software's Dfine 2.0 noise reduction software can help reduce or even eliminate that problem.

There are other noise reduction programs on the market, but Dfine 2.0 allows you to precisely select specific areas of the image on which to apply the noise reduction procedure resulting in very little loss in sharpness and detail.
