Nikon Coolpix P5100
With
its high-resolution 12.1 megapixel image sensor, advanced vibration reduction,
and a plethora of other state-of-the-art features, the Nikon Coolpix P5100
is the company's most advanced point-and-shoot digital camera yet. In fact,
several of its features work together to bring its functionality almost up to
the level of that of a typical entry-level Digital SLR.
The Coolpix P5100 also comes standard with a super-sharp 3.5x optical zoom
Nikkor lens, a maximum ISO of 3200, and a 2.5" high-resolution LCD
with a 170 degree viewing angle. Also included are two features that are becoming
increasingly rare in point-and-shoot digicams: a built-in Hot Shoe for an
external flash and an optical viewfinder. Image storage is via either an SD or
SDHC memory card.
Conclusion: If you're looking for a digital camera with the size and convenience
of a point-and-shoot yet much of the functionality of a DSLR, the Nikon Coolpix
P5100 is quite possibly just what you're looking for.
