Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ5
Panasonic's
line of point-and-shoot digital cameras has long been known for outstanding
performance, image quality and state-of-the-art features, and the new Lumix
DMC TZ5 is easily the best camera in its class that the company has ever
produced.
The DMC TZ5 is equipped with a very capable 9 megapixel image sensor, an
exceptional Leica 10x optical zoom lens with Image Stabilization, continuous
auto-focusing, automatic face detection, and a very handy "Intelligent ISO"
feature that can adjust the camera's ISO setting on the fly to better capture a
moving subject or one that is being photographed under changing lighting
conditions.
This amazing little camera has so much functionality packed into its ergonomic
point-and-shoot case that it approaches the capabilities of an entry-level DLSR.
It does lack the ability to capture images in RAW format and it doesn't have a
fully manual mode, but its host of other powerful features make the Panasonic
Lumix DMC TZ5 one of the most capable point-and-shoot digicams you're
likely to find anytime soon.
