“Sundown & Dangling Bird”

A few evenings ago, I was out taking some photos with the little Canon S90 that I reviewed on this page a couple of weeks ago. The bird in the photo was an attempt to keep the neighbors’ chickens out of our yard. I don’t think they even see it, but it looks pretty nice blowing around when there is a breeze.

This photo is not an exceptional photo at all, but I loved the colors in the sky at sunset. Generally, clouds add a lot to a good sunrise and sunset, but, IMHO, here is proof that they do not have to be present to make a good photograph. This scene was just very peaceful to me and shouted out, God is love. I hope that you also enjoy the beauty!

Here are the camera and settings used to capture this image:

Camera: Canon s90
Focal length: 22.5mm
Shutter speed: 1/250 second
Aperture: f/4.9
ISO: 80

I invite you to visit my online gallery where you’ll find many of the photographs I have taken over the years.
