This image was taken at the edge of the Scapegoat Widerness near Lincoln, Montana. It was quickly approaching dark when we got to the falls. We waded into Arrastra Creek and set up the tripod. I set the camera for a seven image HDR and pressed the cable release. The camera used and the actual settings are as follows:
Camera: Canon 1D Mark IV
Lens: Canon 16-35mm f2.8 l
Focal length: 35mm
Shutter speed:

Image 2: 1/8 sec -2.33 stop
Image 3: 1/5 sec -1.67 stop
Image 4: 1/3 sec -1 stop
Image 5: .8 sec +.33 stop
Image 6: 1.3 sec +1 stop
Image 7: 2 sec +1.67 stops
Aperture: f/18
ISO: 500
Once back at home, the images were aligned and processed using Adobe CS5. To see more of our images, please visit http://jaimejohnson.zenfolio.com/.

I love all of the color and detail in this photo!! I also really like the HDR work done here. I would not have guessed it to be an HDR photo, and IMHO, that is perfect!!
I love a nice “flowing water” image and this one is exquisite.
Lovely
Wow, a 7 image HDR!! Well the result is absolutely stunning. Great job to the both of you!
Stunning shot, and the PP was expertly done.
Jaime and Lisa, now this is HDR done right. What a superb effort!!!
All I have to say is… WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful!!!!!!!
I love this shot. The textures of the stones contrast so well with the silky-smooth water. Outstanding job Lisa and Jaime.
Beautiful shot.
Autumn is probably the best time of year to shoot waterfalls, and this one turned out just wonderfully. I love what you did with the processing folks.
What a fine shot this is, and the HDR treatment is just perfect IMHO.
I used to hate HDR. Now, not so much. What you’ve done here is simply fantastic Jaime and Lisa.
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lovely, natural HDR treatment. Just the way I like it! Great work, Johnsons.
What a magnificent photo. This would make a great pic for a nature calendar.
