With all the nasty winter weather we Americans have been slogging through of late, I thought it might be nice to showcase a balmy beach photo now that we’re wrapping up the Christmas season. Although winter weather has struck the U.S. early and hard, in many places around the globe it’s summertime. And sure enough, although it seems an eternity away, our turn will come again before we know it. Until then we can enjoy this striking photograph of a sunset at Haad Salad Beach, which you will find at Koh Phangan, Thailand should you decide to catch a plane and take off in search of it.
The camera and settings used to capture this image:
Camera: Panasonic DMC-FZ28
Focal length: 5mm
Shutter speed: 1/80 second
Aperture: f/2.8
ISO: 100
Exposure compensation: +0.7 step

Very nice Mr. van Haasteren. We’re digging out here in Indiana, and it sure is nice to have something like this to look forward too.
Gorgeous!!!!!
Great idea! Think I will hop the next plane. Hmmmmm…………….
