“Looking up”

Our world is a fascinating and beautiful place, yet as we go about living our busy lives we tend to miss much of the beauty that is around us because we are so focused on other things. But as today’s picture by photographer Robert Aichinger clearly demonstrates, all we need to do is look at our world from a slightly different perspective from time to time to add a little extra beauty and interest to our daily routines.

Most of us rarely take the time to really experience the precious gifts that we have been given, and in the end we are the ones who ultimately miss out. No one can live our lives for us so it is up to each of us as individuals to take the time to “stop and smell the roses”…or in this case, simply raise our eyes towards the heavens.
