From photographer Andrew Shoemaker: This is a 6 minute exposure of picturesque downtown San Diego from January 2, 2013. The water was very still for this 6 minutes and afterwards the wind picked up ever so slightly and the skyline never had the mirror effect on the water after that. In a weird way, this image reminds me of the the audio channel spectrum on a graphic equalizer.

Gorgeous and amazing! I’m sure the city of San Diego would love to have this picture to put on a tourism brochure.
Nice!!!!! And yeah, it sort of does resemble the display on a graphic equalizer.
This is absolutely stunning. Great capture Andrew. I’ve been a big fan of yours ever since I saw your first image pop up on TodaysPhoto! Please keep ‘em coming! I love your website by the way.
In my opinion, San Diego is the most beautiful and most “livable” large city in California. I lived there for 6 years back in the late 1990s and I miss it a lot. Thanks for this stunning reminder of its beauty.
Beautiful!!
Delightful.
