This photo features Yaquina Head Lighthouse in Newport, Oregon. It was taken just after sunset as I was being kicked out of the park by the rangers. (The park closes at sundown.) They were kind enough to allow me to get one last shot even though they were getting annoyed with my slow return to the car.

Yaquina is one of the most photogenic lighthouses you’ll find anywhere, and photographers just can’t seem to get enough of it. This pic makes it easy to see why. Outstanding job all around Mr. Miller.

Kevin, we lived in Medford, Oregon for 6 years and I had a chance to visit Yaquina a couple of times while we were up there. You really did an excellent job on this image. Thanks for sharing it with us on this AMAZING site.

Very nice Kevin!! We were just at this location 2 days ago and it is beautiful there. I love the Oregon Coast. I would have liked to have stayed late as you did but I was not able to. Were the flies bad when you were there? Also, did you see any whales while there? Flies were terrible and we did see a whale out in the bay.
