The comforting hand of a father

Fear and uncertainty simply melt away when daddy takes that little hand in his and leads her through every new experience and unfamiliar situation of her young life. As time passes by she comes to understand that this giant of a man would do anything within his power to keep her safe and make her happy in this big scary world. As she reaches each major milestone in her life, daddy's hand will always be there to offer love and support, and some day it will proudly lead her down the aisle as she prepares to take another's hand in marriage. And even though there will be a new man in her life to love and cherish as only a wife can do, there will never be another daddy. As she and her new husband struggle to make a life together, she might not get to see her daddy as much as she would like to. But in the back of her mind she'll always know that his comforting hand is only a phone call away should she ever need it. Then some day down the road when her daddy's life is drawing to an end, she'll return all of those favors by gently holding his hand as he prepares to pass from this life into the next. There are few things in life as precious to a dying father as the comforting hand of his daughter. Life has a way of coming full circle, and at the center of that circle is a whole lot of love...and two pairs of comforting hands.     Visitor Comments...
