"Birds"

The first thing that struck me when I saw today's picture was how
the two birds on either end of the feeder appear to be standing
guard as if they're expecting some kind of devious attack. And who knows, maybe they were...I really like this
photograph for a number of reasons, and it's my pleasure to share it
with you. Here is photographer Juanita Ruffner with a little
background info:
"We have a variety of birds coming into our feeders. The ones on
the
left are House Finches and on the right is a pair of Chipping
Sparrows.
The front chipping sparrow is a baby. It was bigger than
the parent,
and it was funny watching the baby flapping its wings
and "squawking"
for its parent to feed it!"

Great shot Juanita. I love watching the birds at my feeders during

It sure does look like the two outside birds are standing guard. The
two on the inside must be VIP's! Wonderful picture today Rick.
