The amazing "Blue Angels"

The aerial acrobatics performed by the US Navy's "Blue Angels"
are nothing short of amazing, especially when you consider the fact
that they perform in supersonic jets instead of slower, easier to
maneuver propeller-driven aircraft. Everywhere they go, these
fearless and ultra-talented pilots have their audiences watching in
awe as they perform stunt after breathtaking stunt in the skies
above.
Photographer Ron Trees recently attended one of the Blue Angels' air
shows where he was able to take a number of spectacular photographs,
including this one. Here are a few words from Ron about the image:
"A couple of weekends ago now, there was an airshow out at
Fairchild
AFB here in Spokane, Washington. This was the first time I
have ever
been able to see the Navy’s Blue Angels perform. They were
very
good!! Here are Solos 5 and 6 taking a pass over the crowd.
Most of
the day had overcast skies, but it broke up a bit in the
afternoon.
I used my Sony A-700 and Tamron 70-300 lens to capture
this image."
