Yesterday's picture featured a beautiful "White Eye", and today
we're going to feature another of our fine-feathered friends. Here
is photographer Robert Schwarztrauber to tell us a little about her:
"It just so happened that I came across a little slower bird this
past
weekend. This beautiful blue-eyed lady was curious what I was
doing
in her part of town. They can often be skittish when
approached on
foot, but as I sat in the car with the windows rolled
down she was
all to happy to stroll up close. Her eyes were so
beautiful, I couldn't
resist, and the shutter went 'click'.
What I find most amazing in shooting outdoors, in nature, is how
all
the colors go together so well. I have a hard time matching my
pants
to my shirt everyday, but God sure has a way with the brush.
Thousands and thousands of colors in nature But I never snapped
a
photo outdoors and said, 'Man, that rock sure doesn't go with
that
grass.' We live everyday in a miracle." --Robert
Schwarztrauber
