"Cheria"

Once upon a time, God decided that October 14 should forever be a special day from that day forward. He realized that the Cook Family needed one more smiling face and loving heart to help bring joy and laughter to their world, so He gave them a very special little girl to love and fill a void in their home they never even knew existed... Granddaddy and Granny Cook welcomed Cheria into their home with open arms, loving her as their own and helping raise her with a love that can only come from people who have truly been touched by the loving hand of the Heavenly Father. Cheria spent much of her childhood among her "big brothers and sisters", doing the things they did, learning the things they learned and singing the songs they sang. It was the singing part that stuck with her the most, and still today she loves to sing praises to the Lord that she learned to love so much under the guiding hand of Granddaddy and Granny Cook. On November 29, 2003, the Lord decided that Cheria should bring her beautiful smile and unconditional love into my life as well, filling yet another void that had existed for many years. Each and every day I'm privileged to wake up to that beautiful smile, and I thank the good Lord for blessing the world with the addition of that one beautiful little girl on October 14 just a few short years ago.
