Cheria holding her "10 lb. NutriBear"

Legend has it that famed frontiersman
Daniel Boone
once "killed a bar".
Well, there is debate about whether that actually happened or not,
but my guess is that he did. After all, he spent years exploring and
traveling through the wild lands of the New World.
What does that have to do with my beautiful wife
Cheria?
Well, she
most definitely didn't "kill a bar", but she "brought one home"
nonetheless. This morning she received her "10 lb. NutriBear" from
Nutrisystem
for losing, well... her first 10 pounds! She has been on her
Nutrisystem diet for two months now and she has lost 13 pounds.
She has done very well indeed, especially considering the fact
that she often has to sit at the dining room table watching
everyone around her eat fried chicken, fried potatoes, juicy
hamburgers, greasy corn fritters,
and all kinds of other tempting dishes. Now you're probably thinking
that 13 pounds in 2 months isn't all that impressive, but that's
almost 2 lbs. per week - a rate which has been steady, safe and
effective at slimming her down. She already has more energy and
stamina than she has had in years and her clothes are beginning to
get a bit "baggy" on her.
I have been very impressed with Cheria's willpower in this endeavor,
and I have no doubt that she'll eventually reach her target weight.
Her next NutriBear will be purple which represents the 20 lb. mark.
I love Cheria very much, and I'm very proud of her!

WAY TO GO, CHERIA. Hang in there. It has to be very hard being a
good cook and not being able to enjoy a lot of it. But in the end,
it will be worth it. I should be doing exactly the same thing! God
Bless, Ron
