A Christmas...Tractor?

Rick Rouse.
The "Deere" featured in today's picture might have a shiny red nose,
but you won't find it pulling Santa's sleigh come Christmas Eve.
Instead, you'll find it sitting alongside a country road in
southwestern Virginia, patiently waiting to greet the "Jolly Old
Elf" and his famous team of reindeer on that special night.
In celebration of the Christmas season,
Cheria's
cousin Zach drove his trusty John Deere farm tractor onto his front
lawn, then covered it with a bunch of colorful
lights to create a Christmas display that's a far cry from the
"cookie-cutter"
decorations that adorn so many yards this time of year. And let me
tell you, it sure
does command attention as people drive by on cold winter
evenings!
They say "Nothing runs like a Deere!", and I'm sure
this one puts in plenty of time working around Zach's farm during
the rest of the year. But until at least the day after Christmas
it'll be enjoying its annual "vacation" out in the front yard!
