Gene precariously cleaning a wooden chandelier

When Amy and Gene decided to take on the challenge of purchasing and renovating a huge log house that had been "gutted" by the previous occupants, they soon realized they had a massive job on their hands that would require them to quickly learn tons of new skills and spend countless hours working on their new "money pit". And ever one to "rise to the occasion", these days Gene can usually be found walking around on the roof, hanging from the side of a tall ladder, or... balancing himself on the narrow beam that runs through the house's massive "great room". With all the sawing and sanding going on, virtually everything in the house stays coated with a thick layer of "wood dust". In typical "Gene" fashion, when he decided to vacuum the dust from the chandeliers he opted for climbing atop the nearby beam instead of simply using a stepladder. And in typical "Cheria" fashion, she whipped out her camera and captured the moment for all to see and enjoy. You see, Gene is absolutely fearless when it comes to height and altitude - after all, the guy skydives for a living and he likes to "clown around" while balancing himself on high, pointed rocks at Yosemite National Park.
