Picture of the day -
October 22, 2007 Looking down on the clouds
Sean Frisoli.
If you're like me, you probably enjoy looking at interesting cloud
formations as they drift by in the sky overhead. There is just
something about the sight of a big, puffy white cloud "sitting" in
the middle of a clear, blue sky that helps calm my nerves when I'm
having a rough day. But for me the view of clouds from a vantage
point on the ground is nothing compared to seeing them from the
window of an airplane!
Photographer Sean Frisoli snapped this wonderful photo while
relaxing on a recent cross-country flight, and the following is his
story behind the image:
"This picture was taken when I got bored on a plane ride
to North
Carolina when I was visiting my sister. I saw the
amazing clouds and
took hundreds of shots - which all came
out amazing! My friend Dom Faustini edits my photos, and
he decided to take a go at this one - and it came out quite
amazing. I hope everyone enjoys this photo!" --Sean Frisoli
