Whenever a space shuttle lifts off at night the resulting "show" is
often spectacular, and the lucky folks who witnessed the launch of
Discovery on the evening of August 28 got to see one heck of a show
indeed. NASA photographer
Ben Cooper captured this awe-inspiring image of a colorful
rainbow created along the arcing trajectory of the rising
spacecraft.
In my opinion, Mr. Cooper has one of the best jobs on the planet.
After all, he gets to "show up for work" at NASA's Kennedy Space
Center to perform the task of capturing the magnificence of the
launches of our fleet of space shuttles. What an exciting vocation!

This is a really cool photo of the shuttle launch. I have never seen
one like it before. I would have to agree with you Rick about this
being one of the best jobs on the planet!!
