Picture of the day - August 4, 2008
"Autumn on the Eel River"

Now that August is upon us it won't be too long before the leaves
start "turning" and chilly temperatures become the norm. Today's
beautiful picture by photographer David Tillotson gives us a little
preview of what many of us can look forward to this fall. Here are a
few words from David about the image:
"This photo was taken while I was visiting relatives in the Eel River
area of New Brunswick, Canada last fall. Their house was on a slight
hill with the Eel River below.
I
walked down a path to the river and
was amazed at the beautiful
colors of the Canadian Fall."
What beautiful colors they are, and what a great job you did
capturing them David!

Very lovely picture, peaceful and serene. Just the kind of image
