"Inquisitive fawn"

Deer are graceful creatures, always full of life and quite curious
about the things going on around them. Today's picture features a
rather inquisitive fawn, and here is photographer Timothy Briggs to
tell us about it:
"I haven't had a whole lot of time for pictures lately,
but I did
manage to come across this fawn and it's mother on my way
home from work one day last week. I only got one shot before
they
both vanished into the thick brush, but I think it turned out
well.
The doe had already moved partially behind the brush, but
the fawn
stopped a moment to look back.
I especially liked the fawn's body positioning and expression as it
turned to look back. When I look at this shot, it makes me stop
for
a moment to look back on recent events and be thankful for
the time
I get to spend outdoors. Deer are among my favorite
subjects to
photograph in nature." --Timothy Briggs
