"Fire in the Kitchen" at the Pickin' Porch

Cheria and I had an opportunity to catch the fine Appalachian Celtic band Fire in the Kitchen in concert at The Pickin' Porch last evening, and as always they put on an outstanding show! "Fire in the Kitchen" performs a flavor of Celtic music all their own. Their masterful combination of traditional Celtic melodies and Appalachian "Old-Time" influences results in a sound that is as unique as it is beautiful. The individual talents of Debbie Shrewsbury, Tammy Martin, Teddy Helton and Linda Walter (L-R in the photo) each add a dimension to the band and the music that help create one of the most enjoyable experiences you will ever have at a live music concert. Cheria and I had a great time enjoying the sights and sounds created by these wonderful folks last night, and we look forward to seeing them again real soon.
