The Grand Canyon is one of the world's most popular tourist
destinations, and there are literally thousands of pictures taken of
it's magnificent scenery each and every year. Today's picture by
photographer Jochen Koch provides us with a view of the Canyon that
we don't get to see all that much. Here is Mr. Koch to tell us a
little about it:
"First Light at the Grand Canyon National Park. This photo was
taken
at sunrise on September 2008 from the North Rim. The air was
clear,
so 'Humphreys Peak', the highest point in Arizona near
Flagstaff, about
100Miles away, is visible."
