"Streaks of Light in the City"

Today's picture features a nighttime view of a true New York City
landmark. Photographer Nick Sadowski used a long shutter speed to
turn the light from passing vehicles into a rather intriguing array
of colors to contrast with the dark exterior of the building. And
the result is pretty spectacular in my opinion! Here are a few words
from Mr. Sadowski about the image:
"This photograph features the Fuller Building, now called the
'Flatiron
Building' in New York City. The Flatiron Building, one of
New York's
oldest skyscrapers, is just one of the many iconic images
of that
fabulous city. I wanted to capture it and also the hustle
and bustle
that goes on in NYC. The traffic trails represent buses,
taxis, police
cars, and other traffic. I shot this with my Canon EOS
5D with my
16-35mm lens." --Nick Sadowski

How cool! Whenever I see a picture like this it makes me wonder why
you can see the lights but not the vehicles! I love this photo!!! |
