A gorgeous Florianópolis sunset

Photo courtesy of Josiane Souza. Today's picture features a stunning sunset from Florianópolis in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina. Brazil is a massive country which covers much of the South American continent, and within her expansive borders are some of the world's most beautiful scenery. Florianópolis was founded as a fishing village, and many locals make their living that way still today, but over the years the area's stunning beauty has so enticed visitors from all around the world that tourism is now the backbone of the city's economy.
