"Fog In The Valley"

The state of Virginia is home to some of the country's most gorgeous
scenery. From the sandy beaches of the
Eastern Shore to the ancient
Appalachian Mountains in the west, the landscapes travelers
encounter while driving across the Old Dominion are just as diverse
and beautiful as her history is captivating.
Today's picture features a fine example of Virginia's beauty.
Photographer Sean Littreal stopped to take this lovely photograph of
some low-lying valley fog while driving through the southern part of
the state, and the following paragraph contains a few nuggets of background info about the
image:
"This photograph was taken right off the interstate in southern
Virginia on September 25, 2007 at 6:16am. The Lord provides us
with
beauty everyday, and we all should make time in this hectic
world to
notice the beauty that's all around us: the animals,
insects,
scenery, and flowers make this world a true nature
habitat. I
captured this image with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi
equipped with

All of your submitted photographs are just breathtaking. I did
however want to comment on the photo submitted by Sean Littreal
entitled "Fog In The Valley". Although I know the area quite well,
the beauty captured by the artist makes you look at your own world
differently. What peace and tranquil beauty!!! We truly are blessed
to be surrounded by such natural beauty and to be blessed with an
artist with talent and the ability to capture and remind us what a
wonderful world this is and how important it is to preserve it for
future generations.
