Our amazing universe is home to billions of galaxies, each of which
is home to billions of stars, planets, and various other objects
ranging in size from super-tiny to mind-bogglingly huge. And
interestingly, it is sometimes the smallest objects that are easiest
to see with our most powerful telescopes.
Today's picture features the spiral galaxy NGC 7049, and as you can
see it's most prominent feature is a thick cloud of dust that seems
to extend several light years past the fringes of the galaxy itself!
What an amazing place the universe is, and what a powerful Creator
it must have taken to speak it into existence.
This spectacular image of Galaxy NGC 7049 was recently captured by
the equally spectacular
Hubble Space Telescope.

What an amazing place our universe is. Mind boggling in fact. The

it!
