The spectacular Golden Gate Bridge

Roman Stepanov.
Over the years I have seen so many gorgeous pictures of the
Golden Gate Bridge that I had long ago decided that exceptional
was the norm, but then along came this one, and it has clearly set a
new standard for beauty for this true American icon. I'm beginning
to think that regardless of how good an image of a particular
subject might be, there is always someone who will someday capture
one just a little better.
Photographer Roman Stepanov captured this stunning image of the
Golden Gate and
San Francisco Bay, and here is his story behind
the photo:
Its the size of the bridge that's attracted me to the Golden Gate
most every time. It's truly an amazing sight with a river of cars
stretching for thousands of feet on top of a structure made by
human
hands. I settled at night on top of a hill in order to capture
the
snake of light projected by the hundreds of cars.
The photo was taken with a Canon EOS 5D equipped with an
EF 24-70mm
F2.8 zoom lens. The aperture was set to f16 and
the shutter speed
was 4 minutes. --Roman Stepanov
