"Green Frame Cascades"

Mac Danzig.
The Canadian province of British Columbia is home to some of the
world's most magnificent scenery, and today's picture by
photographer Mac Danzig treats us to a small, but very beautiful
sample of it.
The Green Frame Cascades are located in one of Canada's most
popular parks:
Goldstream Provincial Park on southern Vancouver
Island. Thousands of visitors come each year to experience the
beauty of the area's old-growth temperate rain forest where you can
walk among massive Douglas Fir and Western Red Cedar trees as well
as a plethora
of lush ferns, mosses and other plants. And of course the Goldstream River's
annual salmon run draws thousands more. This place truly is a
nature lover's paradise!
Mr. Danzig captured this gorgeous image with a Canon EOS 5D Digital
SLR equipped with a 17-40 F4 L lens. The settings used were as
follows:
Exposure: 8 seconds
Aperture: F/16
ISO: 50
Focal length: 40mm
