A Ground Squirrel enjoying an early spring day

I don't know what Ron did to catch the furry critter's attention, but here is his story behind the image: "We went to Finch Arboretum in Spokane, on Saturday. There really is not a lot to do there yet, but it soon became apparent that the park has a bumper crop of Ground Squirrels. I sat down a short distance from one of their holes and started taking pictures. Cute little critters! I used my Sony A100 and Sigma 70-300 APO DG lens on this one."  --Ron E.
