"Highway 30"

Anyone who has ever traveled on a twisting, turning, mountain road
knows full well what a "switchback" is, and today's picture features
one of the most extreme switchbacks I have ever seen. Here is
photographer Mark Gotchall to tell us about it:
"This photo was taken from Rowena Crest looking east towards
Highway 30 as it winds it's way back down toward the Columbia
River.
Rowena Crest is located between Hood River and the city
of The Dalles, Oregon in the Columbia River Gorge."
