Horses and autumn in rural western New York

When most people hear the words New York, images of bumper-to-bumper taxicabs,  towering skyscrapers and multiple languages being spoken at once immediately come to mind, but there is much, much more to the great state of New York than just the amazing city that shares its name. New York State includes 54,556 square miles of some of the world's most beautiful countryside, and the vast majority of that land lies outside of its cities and towns. The Adirondack and Catskill mountain ranges, the Allegheny Plateau, and the numerous farms and wooded areas which comprise most of the state make New York a veritable photographer's paradise in the fall.
