Reflections on Hoyt Lake

Reflections on Hoyt Lake.

Spending a beautiful autumn morning in a beautiful place can help re-charge one's batteries and soothe away the cares and troubles of everyday life, and today's picture by photographer Robert Schwarztrauber does a great job at showing how it's done. Here is Mr. Schwarztrauber with a few words about his gorgeous image:
"Just as I entered the lake area, I spotted the red hat. I'd come
to find what remained of the fall colors and I certainly did find color
down here. The lake was calm, and the air was cool. And the sun
spilled down this fine mid-morning to show off all the colors of
nature. And a man, alone with his thoughts, sitting quietly to
reflect on the beauty and bountiful blessings of God's paradise
    here on Earth.

This photograph was taken at Hoyt Lake in Buffalo, New York's
Delaware Park, part of a wonderful park system designed by the
    great Frederick Law Olmsted."
