Picture of the day - July 9, 2008
Isola Bella

Today's picture features Isola Bella, an extremely rocky, yet
very beautiful island located in Lake Maggiore in northern Italy.
The island's history is a long and storied one. From its roots as a
quiet fishing village in the early 1600's it has been transformed
into first a palatial island estate, then ultimately into one of Europe's
premier tourist attractions.
The camera settings used by photographer Eva Schuster to capture
this image are as follows:
Aperture: f/4.7
Shutter speed: 1/329 of a second
ISO: 100
