The Lake District of Cumbria, UK

Barry Price.
With amazing scenery that features the highest peaks in
England,
gorgeous pastoral valleys, and swiftly flowing streams (complete
with a number of mini-waterfalls), the rural county of
Cumbria is
truly a photographer's paradise. This beautiful scene from the
Lake
District was captured by photographer Barry Price, and it easily
proves my point. The following is Mr. Price's story behind the
image:
"The Location is half way up the climb
Skiddaw which is a high
fell
in Cumbria's Lake District. Skiddaw overlooks the town of
Keswick
and Derwent Water. At 3,054 feet, Skiddaw is classed as a
mountain
and the views both on the summit and along the path are amazing.
The climb is not too difficult with a good path all the way
to the top,
and it offers excellent views of the Lake District area.
There are
many walks like this in the Lake District and the
photography
opportunities are limitless." --Barry Price
Mr. Price enjoys all sorts of photography, including landscapes and
aviation (his other photography passion). You can see more of his
amazing images on his website at

Lovely. I was pleased to see this picture. The series of books I
have been reading take place in this area during King Arthur's time.
It gives me a "view".
