Sunset over Lake Michigan at Manistee

Beautiful sunsets are quite common on and around the Great Lakes of North America, and today's picture features one of them: the sun setting over Lake Michigan near the mouth of the Manistee River. Photographer Brandon Barch captured this gorgeous image, and the following are a few words from him about it: "This photo was taken between the breakwalls at the mouth of the Manistee River on Lake Michigan at Manistee, Michigan looking toward the First Street pier. It was taken at 8:00pm on April 2 2008 with the Canon 10-22mm lens."  --Brandon Barch Most sunset photos are taken in warm locales, but as you can see here all you really need is the setting sun and plenty of water.
