Leopard Cub

In all of God's animal kingdom, perhaps the most beautiful,
respected and feared of the lot are the group that we refer to as
the "big cats". Well, today's picture by photographer Pam
Wood features one of the cutest "big cats" I have ever seen. The
following is Ms. Wood's story behind the image:
"I was on a photographic quest to capture all the waterfalls in
Oregon I could find. On the way I stopped at an animal park and
to
my surprise they announced they were bringing out a leopard
cub.
This was an incredible opportunity to photograph this
amazing animal
close up without bars or glass and not having to
travel to Africa.
The cub's eyes are blue now, but they will change
to yellow in about
a year!" --Pam Wood

Wonderful job on this one Pam. I love how you used such a shallow
depth of field to accentuate the eyes.

Gorgeous photo of that leopard cub Pam. Those eyes and that
expression are just wonderful. And that cute blue towel really pull
it together. Love photos of the big (and little cats) and this one
is really superb.
