In the narrative for
a previous Picture of the Day I wrote about how
God created light for the benefit of His "living" creations. I feel
that today's picture and accompanying text from photographer and
good friend Ron Trees is a wonderful follow-up to that feature (and
of course Ron's picture is simply stunning, as usual):
"And God said, Let there be light: and there was
light. (Genesis 1:3)
Ever since that point, God has been writing his love letters across
the sky in different forms and colors for all to enjoy. He does all
sorts of things to get our attention, to maybe slow us down a bit
and spend a bit of time to think about Him. There truly is beauty
all around us, if we just take the time to see it.
I have said before that I really like sunrise and sunset. It seems
that recently, we have been having a lot of very nice sunsets. I
was
on my way home last night, and just as I was leaving town,
I saw
this sunset. I had to stop and try to capture it. I hope that
I am
doing it justice as it was beautiful. I hope that you enjoy it
also." --Ron Trees

Again thanks to Rick for the site and thanks to Ron who gives us
such fantastic photos. I am amazed at the talent Ron & “Rocky” have
with their cameras. Knowing Rick & Cheria personally and having
known their parents and grandparents I congratulate Rick on his web
site and the work and talent he puts in it. I look forward each day
to the website and what it might bring. May God bless all and keep
up the great work.
