"The beauty of the lilac"

Today's picture is yet another spectacular image that was captured
by a photographer who wishes to remain anonymous. It features a
beautiful cluster of lilac blossoms in full bloom, and they no doubt
smelled just as sweet as they looked when the picture was taken.
The lilac has been one of my favorite flowers for as long as I can
remember. Wherever my mom happened to be living at any given time
during her adult life, she always had a wonderful lilac bush or two
growing somewhere in the yard - and she still does today. Every
spring our lawn would come alive with those beautiful blossoms and
sweet aroma, taking me back yet again to the first time I was
introduced to this most wonderful shrub as a youngster. Still today
I find those blossoms just as beautiful and fragrant as ever.
My amazing mom was God's gift to our family and the world, and her
lilacs were her gift to us all. And what precious gifts they are!
