My granddaughter Madison standing in her crib

Rick Rouse.
It's been almost 11 months since God gave Cheria and me a new little
bundle of joy named
Madison, our second granddaughter. And like her big sister
Olivia before her, she has provided us with one thrill after
another as she grew and learned new things about herself and the
world around her. And that amazing process is
continuing as we speak...
Well, a few days ago Madison figured out how to grab onto the side of
her crib and pull herself up into a standing position. Now we have
to watch her like a hawk and only put her in there when we'll be
able to stand right there and watch her, lest she climb over the
railing and fall
to the floor below. I snapped this photo of our little angel the other night
as she gazed up at her proud
granny.
As our
beautiful granddaughters are growing up, Cheria and I have the
privilege of watching them "graduate" from one stage of life
to the next, offering encouragement and help as needed while asking
for God's favor upon their lives and futures. One of His greatest
gifts is the pleasure of being a grandparent, and I for one am
enjoying every minute of it!
