"Misty morning in Alaska"

And to be sure, the "Last Frontier" certainly has more than its fair share of them throughout her long, frigid winters. But as today's picture clearly demonstrates, this amazing place also has plenty of greenery to be enjoyed during the summer months. Photographer Sharon Brucker captured this beautiful image of the Alaska countryside on a mild July day while enjoying an amazing train ride between the towns of Telkeetna and Whittier. In this gorgeous picture the photographer has managed to capture the very essence of the beauty that we up north are blessed to enjoy on a day-to-day basis. Yes, the winters are hard.
