Mom's beautiful flower beds

Well, she has managed to do it again! My mom absolutely loves working in her flower garden, and she always has some of the prettiest flowers in the neighborhood to show for her labors. Once again this year her doctor (and us "kids") asked her to take things a little easier and avoid climbing around in her flower beds, and I believe she has finally decided to heed our advice. That's why we were so surprised to discover that her flowers are just as beautiful this year as they have ever been! Mom has spent her entire life caring for the things she loves, most notably the Lord, her family, and her beloved flowers. Ever since she was a young teenager she has done her very best to worship her God and take care of her family to the best of her ability, then whenever she managed to find a few spare minutes she would get to work planting, watering and weeding her flower beds. And the Lord has surely blessed her over the years for her efforts in each of these endeavors. The good Lord willing, mom will celebrate her 80th birthday next month. She has lived quite an interesting, and often difficult life, and she still loves getting out of bed each and every morning to greet the new day that the Lord has given her. And her flowers seem to do the same, as if paying homage to both their grower and their Creator.
