"Threading the needle"

Today's intriguing picture comes to us courtesy of photographer Rick Ellis, and he offers the following background info about the image:
    "On the evening of Feb. 27, 2009 the Moon and Venus were in conjunction. They were only a few degrees apart and through that narrow gap passed an aircraft. A most rare triple conjunction of sorts. This 5 second exposure was made with a Canon A460."   --Rick Ellis
