"Moonlight Pool"

Today's picture features a gorgeous nighttime view from a moonlit
Hauxley Beach which is located near Amble in Northumberland, United
Kingdom. The following is photographer Iain Huitson's story behind
the image:
"This was my first attempt at taking photos under moonlight
conditions. After spending two hours on the beach trying out
different settings this was the second to last image I captured.
The
reflection of the moon in the pool looked great, I set up
the tripod
and opened the shutter for a 30 second exposure.
During the exposure I fired a small flash gun off to the left of
the
foreground rock to illuminate it and it was only towards
the end of
the exposure that I noticed the tide was coming in
to fill the pool
which produced the beautiful swirling effect in
the pool."
