Morant's Curve - Banff National Park

Moreland.                 (Click on the photo for a larger view) In addition to being home to some of the nicest people you will ever meet, our neighbor to the north is also home to some of the world's most magnificent scenery. Canada is the 2nd largest country on the face of the planet, and you would be hard-pressed to find very many vistas within her borders that wouldn't make an absolutely breathtaking photograph. Today's picture features one of the most famous scenes in all of Canada, and here is photographer Lance W. Moreland with a few details about it: "This photo is of "Morant's Curve" in Banff National Park in Canada. A similar photograph taken by Nicholas Morant, for which the area was named, was displayed on the back of the Canadian twenty dollar bill for many years."    --Lance W.
