Multnomah Falls

Today's picture features beautiful Multnomah Falls, one of
the most visited waterfalls in the Pacific Northwest. Besides their
obvious beauty, these falls are quite special to photographer Ron
Trees for another reason. Here is Ron to tell you about it:
"We went on vacation a couple weeks back to visit my oldest
daughter in Grants Pass, OR. One of the ways to get there is to
go
through Portland, OR. On our way home, we were running
late, but
made a stop by Multnomah Falls which is not far out of
Portland. It
is a beautiful place to visit if you are ever in the area.
It was
late in the day, but I still managed to get a few pictures.
Multnomah
Falls is a special place for my wife and I as it was
one of the
stops on our honeymoon, 26 years ago." --Ron Trees

A lovely shot of a beautiful falls. It's hard to capture this photo
without hordes of tourists lining the bridge, but Ron has done that
perfectly, and caught the grace and color of the falls very nicely
as well. Multnomah Falls is on my list of places to visit again
soon…

That's a spectacular scene Ron! Well shot. The height and distance
captured is amazing. Perfectly set off and brought into perspective
by the bridge. It makes me want to get there to see it myself one
day! My Niagara Falls here might be massive but it's got nothing on
Multnomah Falls. Thanks for sharing that great photograph Ron.
