"The old red barn"

Photo courtesy of Brian Lary. Today's picture by photographer Brian Lary features one of my favorite subjects: an old barn. Cheria and I love driving along country roads and checking out all the old barns that we happen to pass. Every one of them is a little different from the rest, and every one of them has a story to tell. The old barn pictured above looks like it has been around for awhile. The weathered red paint that is fading and peeling combine with the huge crack in the stone foundation to give the structure a ton of "character", and Mr. Lary has managed to capture every single ounce of it in this wonderful image.
