"Palm leaves on blue sky"

Today's photo proves that when it comes to composing a photograph,
less is quite often more. To capture this intriguing
abstract image, photographer Daniel Cubillas took a minimalist
approach when planning the composition. By zooming in on just two short sections of
a pair of palm leaves, Mr. Cubillas was able to create a beautiful
wall-hanger filled with the classic diagonal lines and complimentary
colors. Simply gorgeous!
Here are the camera and settings used to capture this image:
Camera: Nikon D90
Focal length: 105mm
Shutter speed: 1/200 second
Aperture: f/9
ISO: 200

Whenever I see a picture like this one, I always think "I could do
that." But mine never seem to turn out just the way I want them.
Great job!
