Today's picture features a rather intriguing view of a pigeon in
flight. Photographer Gordon Brugman's masterful use of depth of
field, shutter speed and aperture sure captured the bird's graceful
flight in all its glory. Here is Mr. Brugman's story behind the
image:
"This is a great example of how good images can be had without
going on “photo safaris.” This image was taken while a flock of
pigeons were circling to land on the roof of a local restaurant.
Putting the camera in “Sports” mode providing constant focusing,
a
high shutter speed and a shallow depth of field which helped
the
bird stand out against the softly blurred background. Great
images
are everywhere you look, but you have to look!"
