"Pond and Pines"

Today's picture features a beautiful scene from Washington State, and as always photographer Ron Trees has managed to capture every smidgeon of beauty that the area has to offer. The late evening sun illuminating the trees and barn, the ominous-looking sky in the background and the lovely reflections on the water combine to give this image everything it needs to be a wall-hanger. Here is Ron to give you a little background info on the image: "I pass by this little pond almost every day going to and coming home from work. I have stopped a few times and taken pictures, but I have never been very happy with them. A few days ago, I passed by it again and the lighting was pretty nice so I stopped and took a few more pictures. I liked this one, and I hope you like it as well.
